ECE Seminar - Symbiotic Radio for 6G and Beyond

9:15am - 10:15am
Classroom 2304 (via Lifts 17/18)

The massive communication scenario to be supported by 6G networks calls for novel energy- and spectrum-efficient wireless communication technologies. In this talk, a new technique, called symbiotic radio (SR), is introduced to exploit the benefits of cognitive radio (CR) and ambient backscatter communications, which leads to mutualism spectrum sharing and highly reliable backscattering communications. We will also address the fundamentals and potential applications of SR in zero-energy and sustainable IoT in 6G and beyond.
