E-Waste Upcycling Workshop
Do you have a phone lying around on your second shelf because it has stopped working?
Do you care about waste and want to learn more about upcycling and turning waste into resources? 🗑
Are you a ✨creative✨ person?
The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC) is collaborating with HKUST startup team Projekt in launching E-Waste Collection and Consultation at theBASE, in hope of creating a collaborative, educational experience for the HKUST community who is interested in sustainability!
You are now invited to drop off your non-functioning devices (phones, laptops, cameras, calculators and anything you can think of that isn’t a refrigerator 💫) at theBASE and join the workshop hosted by Projekt team to upcycle them into stylish jewelry!
Starting March 1, we are putting up E-Waste Collection and Consultation 30 minutes timeslots at theBASE. You can bring your devices, we can open them up for you and have a consultation about what parts we can use during the workshop in the coming week and discuss about what kind of things we can build!
