As the era of the Internet of Things arrives, novel smart devices are springing up. Compared with conventional smart devices as smartphones and tablets, these devices are distinctive in appearance, size, function and hardware architecture. Although they have brought conveniences to users’ lives, their unique features have also rendered their interaction with users ever more challenging. As an important entrance of IoT, how to interact well with novel smart devices becomes a pressing issue. In this talk, I will share with you our recent research progress related to acoustic and vibration sensing.
