Department of Mathematics - Mathematics Colloquium - Quantum computing from invariant and representation theoretical perspectives
3:00pm - 4:00pm
Lecture Theatre F (near Lift 25/26)
Algebraic invariant theory and geometric invariant theory were initiated by Cayley and Hilbert, further developed by Weyl and Mumford, and extended by Howe to duality of representations. In this talk, we focus on understanding quantum Fourier transform and quantum entanglement measurement from invariant and representation theoretical perspectives.
