Cantonese Fun via Singing Cantonese Opera Songs

01:30pm - 03:00pm
TBC, TBC

Building on the success of the iLANG workshop Singing the Cantonese Opera Way in Fall 2023, this workshop aims to:

•    promote Chinese culture, accurate pronunciation, fun and positive mood via singing popular Cantonese Opera excerpts such as the Death of the Flora Princess (帝女花之香夭), and songs by Michelle such as Singing to Warm My Heart (唱曲熱我心), etc.

Through the practice of vocal training, singing and Cantonese rhymes, it is hoped that participants can develop the habit of good voice and good spirits, improve their Cantonese articulation and pronunciation, and understand that singing Cantonese opera is not only the cultivation of good mood, but also a kind of physical exercise.
