CAMPUS CINEMA – Joker: Folie À Deux

Media Technology and Publishing Center and Shaw Auditorium Unit are thrilled to present the highly anticipated Campus Cinema Screening Event Series to kick-start this new academic year!

Following the exciting voting, the first film we will be showcasing is Joker: Folie à Deux.

A highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 film "Joker," directed by Todd Phillips. Set to explore the complex psyche of Arthur Fleck, portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, the film delves deeper into the themes of mental illness, societal neglect, and the nature of chaos. This installment introduces Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga, and potentially explores their tumultuous relationship against the backdrop of Gotham City. The film promises to blend psychological drama with musical elements, creating a unique cinematic experience that continues the story of one of comic book history's most iconic villains.

The film will be presented in English with Chinese subtitle.
