HKUST-Bright Dream Robotics Joint Research Institute (HBJRI) cordially invites HKUST faculty to express interest in the themes and topics released by the Guangdong Bright Dream Robotics Co. Ltd. (BDR), and submit project proposals.

 

This batch of call for proposals has the following pre-defined research topics:  

 

Pre-defined research topics:

(1)全局定位基准激光装置

(2)定位激光抗干扰解决方案

(3)端云协同的建筑机器人多机合作作业系统

(4)高性能永磁同步电机控制技术研究

 

Technical details of the pre-defined research topics:

Available upon expression of interest

 

Project Duration

Typically around 6 months (Negotiable, depending on project requirements)

 

Funding

Typically around HK$1 - 2 million per project (depending on the project nature and duration)

 

Application Procedure

- Faculty express their interest here. Details of the projects will then be released to those who show interest.

- HBJRI will facilitate communication between HKUST faculty and BDR R&D teams on the project’s research direction and technical specifications.

- Faculty can then submit a full proposal for panel selection and review after confirming the contents with the BDR R&D team.
