AUA Lecture Series 2022 - Green Agriculture and Transportation: Kazakhstan Steps to Tackle Climate Change

6:00pm - 7:30pm

AUA LECTURE SERIES 2022

The Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) is launching a joint online lecture series related to Sustainable Development Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. The theme of the lecture series is "Future of Energy". In reaching the targets for Goal 7, Asian countries developed their national energy strategies and energy policies based on domestic energy demand and the international energy situation. Asia has abundant and promising clean energy resources, which is an important foundation for achieving a clean, diversified, reliable and economical supply of energy in the future.

Experts from each AUA university will be invited to introduce the energy strategies of their home countries, including scenario planning, and guide students and other attendees to rethink how to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.”
