Library Open Workshop - Emerging AI Tools for Literature Review

This online workshop will explore a variety of emerging AI tools, discuss their unique features and limitations, and demonstrate effective ways to use them for conducting literature reviews.

After this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify available AI tools for literature review and understand how they can assist at the different stages of the review
  • Select the appropriate tool for specific research needs
  • Understand how to properly cite AI-generated content in academic papers

The workshop will demonstrate these tools: PoeMS CopilotPerplexitySciteElicitConsensus, and Notion AI. Interested participants may choose and sign up for 1-2 tools and try them out prior to the workshop.

All students and staff are welcome.

 

Notes: 

  • Zoom URL and passcode will be sent to registrants at 5pm, 1 day before the event.
  • 1.5 credit hours will be counted toward the professional development course requirement of PDEV 6770 A/C/D/E.
