Information Session for HKUST-Cornell Global Strategic Collaboration Awards In support of the Cornell Global Hubs Initiative

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Cornell University (Cornell) are offering faculty research grant awards as part of their Cornell Global Hubs partnership. These seed grants have been established to facilitate and support joint initiatives that will strengthen HKUST and Cornell’s strategic priorities and develop multi-disciplinary cutting-edge research to create academic and societal impact.

1.       Each grant requires at least one PI from HKUST and one from Cornell. Additional collaborators are welcome but not required.

2.       Grants are open to any Cornell-eligible Principal Investigator and HKUST-eligible Principal Investigator from any academic disciplines.

3.       In this round, no specific research themes are required.  Applicants are encouraged to submit funding proposals for innovative and sustainable programs built around collaborative research linking Cornell and HKUST.
