Repair Parties
Welcome back to school! Finally, here come our face-to-face lectures and relationship again after a loooooong time of the pandemic situation. However, you can't have a remarkable semester with a slow, or even broken device, right?
Therefore, we, the REMAKE team, would like to call back an exciting event - REPAIR PARTIES!
Who are we?
REMAKE is a free community-based repair project initiated by HKUST students aimed at promoting sustainability by fixing broken electronic devices instead of throwing them away. We successfully completed 16 repair parties and volunteered 267 hours; thus far, 184 people have had their devices fixed. We thrive on skill-sharing and collaborative learning to fix technology and our relationship with it!
