FINAL CALL - Inside Venture Captial: Start-up Workshop
As a founder or co-founder of a start-up, you will need to seek outside funding from venture capitalists or angel investors. Raising money to fund a new venture involves entrepreneurs and investors is a challenging and critical process. Investors will evaluate start-ups on two dimensions: product‐market fit and financial potential. Therefore, it is critical for entrepreneurs to know how to: 1) develop a business plan that optimizes product‐market fit and 2) build a financial model that demonstrates the financial potential of the company.
Co-organized by Office of Knowledge Transfer, Entrepreneurship Center and HKUST R and D Corporation Ltd, 2 start-up workshops will be offered in October 2022 to cover the basic skills for developing a scalable business plan; creating high‐potential investment opportunities and using financial projections to arrive at proper valuation for start‐ups.
