Drop and Adopt - Sorting Volunteer Session

We'd like to invite our HKUST staff community to support our Drop and Adopt initiative that aims to extend the life of pre-loved items from student halls, while supporting new student residents joining us in the Spring 2026 Semester.
During the hall move-out period from Fall 2025, we’ve collected lots of beddings and household items from student residents. We need your help to sort and prepare these items for distribution back to our community!

Time: 2:30 – 5:00 pm
Location: HKUST Campus

- Sorting items
- Data logging
- Pricing items
Remarks: HKUST staff can take special leave to join this volunteering activity. Please note that prior approval should be obtained from your supervisor and Head of Department for your special leave application.
