Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering - ECEAA Alumni Sharing: MTR Railway Signalling Journey

Dennis LAU is currently serves as Lead Signalling & Electronic Control Engineering Manager in MTR Corporation. He leads and manage a team with railway signalling engineers and managers covering design, construction, asset and RAMS management, technical investigation, testing and commissioning, innovation and technological management, new lines extensions interfaces, system integrations for all signalling and electronic control assets in all MTR revenue lines in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining MTR Corporation, Dennis has joined the ON Semiconductor and Pericom Semiconductor in the post of design engineer for Analog and mix signal IC design.

He is Member of Institution of Railway Signal Engineer (IRSE), Signalling Designer License (1.1.1510v2) of Institution of Railway Signal Engineer (IRSE) and Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He received his bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering and Master of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
