The HKSAR Government’s Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy, the Greater Bay Area Low Altitude Economy Alliance and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology are proud to host the forum “Future of Low Altitude Economy – An Inter-City Dialogue (Commercialisation and Standardisation)” on 10 September 2026.

As the National 15th Five-Year Plan positions the low-altitude economy as an emerging strategic industry and a new growth engine, this forum aligns proactively with the national development strategy to foster global exchange and collaboration in the low-altitude sector. It seeks to promote synergistic innovation and practical cooperation among cities in the Greater Bay Area (Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao) and global metropolises integrating Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) into their urban landscapes.

The forum will focus on two core themes: international standard-setting and commercialisation, building a high-level platform for exchange among government, industry, academia and research sectors.

An online participation option will be available for overseas participants.
