The Office of the Vice-President for Administration and Business (VPABO) and the Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) are pleased to invite all HKUST students and staff to an engaging lunchtime seminar on AI-enabled risks, digital safety, and preparing for the future of work.

As scams become increasingly sophisticated and difficult to identify, this event brings together representatives from HKUST, Google Cloud, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and Tencent Cloud to examine emerging threats, share real-world cases, and offer practical safeguards. Participants will learn how AI is reshaping online interactions and businesses, how technology is being used to strengthen defences, and what individuals can do to protect themselves. They will also gain insights into the skills needed to succeed in the future of work.
