Join us for the Engineering Alumni Unicorn Trail 2026, a special reunion event for Engineering alumni and their families on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Experience the forefront of innovation through exclusive visits to selected technology companies founded by our distinguished alumni in Shenzhen.
This unique program offers firsthand exposure to cutting-edge technologies, entrepreneurial journeys, and the vibrant innovation ecosystem of the Greater Bay Area, while providing a memorable opportunity to reconnect and network with fellow alumni.

8:00 am Departure from HKUST Clear Water Bay (Piazza)
8:30 am Pick-up at Kowloon Tong
6:10 pm Drop-off at Kowloon Tong (estimated)
6:40 pm Dismissal at Clear Water Bay campus (estimated)

10:45am – 11:45am: Visit DJI Sky City
Explore DJI, the world’s leading drone manufacturer, through an exclusive visit to its headquarters, DJI Sky City. Discover the company’s innovation journey, cutting-edge technologies, and industry-leading solutions while experiencing one of Shenzhen’s most iconic landmarks.
12:00nn – 12:30pm: Visit Xeno Dynamics
Explore how Xeno Dynamics combines robotics, biomechanics, and embodied intelligence to create wearable exoskeleton systems, followed by demonstrations of its cutting-edge solutions for healthcare and industrial applications.
12:45pm – 2:00pm: Lunch and Networking Session
2:15pm – 3:15pm: Visit PUDU Robotics Headquarters
Explore the world of PUDU Robotics through an introduction to the company's cutting-edge robotics technologies, followed by showcases and live demonstrations of its latest innovative products.
3:30pm – 4:30pm: Visit HKUST Blue Bay Qianhai Innovation Center
Visit the recently open HKUST Blue Bay Qianhai Innovation Center at Qianhai for which it aims to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration within the Greater Bay Area. The visit will conclude with closing remarks by the Dean of Engineering Prof. Hong K. Lo.
