The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO) has won the accolades as “a leader in Chinese ethnic music” and “a cultural ambassador of Hong Kong”.  They will present an artistic music feast at the Shaw Auditorium of HKUST!

Under the baton of Chew Hee Chiat, the Assistant Artistic Director and Resident Conductor of HKCO, the concert will open with the vibrant "Song of the Valiant", adapted from the theme of the TV series "Water Margin". The program will also feature pieces from various cultures, including "Where is the Grassland" and "Silk Road", beloved animation music "Theme from Laputa", the jazz-inspired "Sing Sing Sing", and excerpts from the elegant "The Dream of the Red Chamber Suite".

The concert will conclude with Joseph Koo Kar Fai's "A Medley of Themes from Television Drama Series", which beautifully weaves together the theme songs of classic TV series from the 1970s and 1980s, providing a perfect finale to the performance.

From timeless traditions to contemporary allure, from classic masterpieces to popular hits, this concert promises an unforgettable blend of musical wonders.

素有「民樂翹楚」及「香港文化大使」之美譽的香港中樂團即將於香港科技大學逸夫演藝中心為大家帶來一場兼具傳統文化底蘊、跨地域特色、以及流行元素的藝術盛宴！

本場音樂會由香港中樂團助理藝術總監兼常任指揮周熙杰帶領樂團小組，以電視劇《水滸傳》主題曲改編而成的《好漢歌》揭開序幕，然後送上極具地方韻味的《草原在哪裡》及《絲綢之路》、耳熟能詳的動漫歌曲《天空之城》、爵士色彩《Sing Sing Sing》以及古樸典雅的《紅樓夢組曲》選段。最後，將以顧嘉煇結合二十世紀七、八十年代經典電視劇集主題曲創作的《電視主題曲組曲》作結，為音樂會畫上完美句號。

• Free-seating on a first-come-first-served basis.
  不設劃位，先到先得。
• No food or drink is allowed.
  嚴禁飲食。
• Unauthorized photo-taking, audio or video recording is strictly prohibited.
  未經許可，嚴禁攝影、錄音或錄影。
• Late-comers will be admitted only if there is a suitable break in the event.
  遲到者需按工作人員指示在合適時間下方可進場。
• The organizer reserves the right to vary advertised programs, seating arrangement and audience capacity.
  主辦單位有權保留更改節目資料、座位安排和觀眾人數上限的權利。

WALK-IN ARRANGEMENT 候補門票安排

• Interested walk-in participants can arrive at the reception counter in the Shaw Auditorium lobby 15 minutes before the program starts for registration. 
  有興趣即場候補的人士，請於節目開始前15分鐘到達逸夫演藝中心票務前台登記。
• If registered attendees are unable to attend before the performance starts, walk-in participants will be admitted based on the order of registration, depending on the situation on-site.  
  演出開始前若有已報名人士未能出席，將會根據登記的先後次序，根據現場情況安排候補進場。
• Walk-in slots are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis until full. 
  候補名額有限，先到先得，額滿即止。
• Attendees who successfully secured a slot earlier are kindly requested to arrive on time. If they have not collected their tickets by the start time, the registered tickets will be considered forfeited, and walk-in attendees will be allowed to fill the spots. 
  早前成功登記門票的觀眾敬請準時到場，如在開場時間仍未領取門票者，所登記之門票作放棄論，由即場候補的觀眾補上。
