Flag Raising Ceremony on Oct 1 - Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

Time: 10:30am (*Flags will be raised at 10:30am sharp. Registration counter at Shaw Auditorium opens at 9:30am)
Ceremony Location: HKUST South Gate - the three flag poles located near Shaw Auditorium

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at South Gate (8:30 - 11:30 am)
During the Temporary Traffic Management implementation on the event day, vehicular access between the Roundabout of South Gate and the Lee Shau Kee Campus will be temporarily closed from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Guests, staff members, and students traveling to the campus by car must use the North Gate and display a valid parking permit to enter. Taxis can enter the campus through the North Gate only. Those who arrive near the South Gate during the stated time will be required to wait outside the ceremonial area until the flag raising ceremony concludes.
Attendees will receive an exquisite souvenir—the multifunctional scarf—on the day. Souvenirs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last. Please register now!
