Building on the success of our 2023 festive event, Moonlit Delights @ Shaw Auditorium (SA) 2024 is set to dazzle on September 16! This year’s celebration promises an exciting array of activities, including vibrant lunchtime performances by our talented student societies and music bands. Join us for lantern riddle competitions and delightful refreshment gatherings, all designed to immerse you in the magic of the festival and honor the beauty of Chinese traditions.
Lantern Riddle Game
Put your wits to the test in our Lantern Riddle Competition! From September 9 to 19, head to the foyer of Shaw Auditorium to solve a series of intriguing riddles. Pick up your riddle answer card and see how many you can solve. If you answer 10 correctly, you’ll unlock the chance to redeem a special gift on September 16!
Lunchtime Performance
Experience the enchanting sounds of the Chinese Orchestra and the Chinese Folk Art Society, HKUSTSU. Plus, don’t miss the SA debut of the Nowhere Band and the much-anticipated return of Particles - HKUST Science Music Band and Band Society, HKUSTSU. Their captivating performances will celebrate the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival!
