Fire Up Your Year - Welcome Event for Students

Join us at the “Fire Up Your Year” event to kickstart the new academic year together!  

“Fire Up Your Year” features a series of activities to welcome all new and returning HKUST students on the first day of the new academic year – from an exhilarating kick-off ceremony with various student performances and warm greetings from University’s senior leaders, to a fun check-point game!

During the check-point game, there will be designated spots throughout the campus for collecting stamps to redeem exclusive souvenirs.  While beginning to navigate campus life and attend classes, students are encouraged to participate in these activities, to boost the vibe and connect with our fellow HKUSTers.  We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is co-organized by the Global Engagement and Communications Office, Dean of Students' Office and Shaw Auditorium Unit, with the support from School of Science, School of Engineering, School of Business and Management, School of Humanities and Social Science, Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies and Center for Language Education.
