About Hong Kong Animal Assisted Therapy Association (HKAATA)
Established in 2013, HKAATA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing tailored animal-assisted therapy interventions for marginalized youth, children, and individuals in need. Comprised of professionals from various fields, including experienced social workers, counseling psychologists, and registered teachers, HKAATA's team of certified therapists undergoes rigorous training and assessments to ensure the delivery of effective treatment. Designated as the sole alliance partner of the Taiwan Animal Assisted Therapy Association (PATA), HKAATA is the only organization in Hong Kong with certified therapists who lead and execute frontline therapy.
