Public Research Seminar by Advanced Materials Thrust, Function Hub - Quantum Materials & Materials Informatics 2023 Symposium

to
9:00am - 6:40pm
W1-5F Maker Space 红鸟学创大教室

In recent years, the groundbreaking advances in artificial intelligence have fundamentally changed the landscape of material science research and technology development. Research, simulation, and control of quantum many-body systems have provided a more profound understanding of material properties. More advanced technologies and deeper understanding have paved the way for unprecedented possibilities in the field of advanced materials, including quantum materials, soft matter, metamaterials, and quantum computing. To facilitate the mutual exchange of cutting-edge research in advanced materials, quantum science, and artificial intelligence, the Advanced Materials Thrust of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), in collaboration with the Quantum Science and Technology Center, has decided to organize the first Quantum Materials and Material Informatics Symposium from December 15-17, 2023. The symposium will specially invite young experts, scholars, and outstanding students from relevant research fields at home and abroad to present offline reports and poster exchanges. The symposium will also provide video recording and live online streaming services.
