Greater Bay Area Exchange Tour - Brefing Session

In response to the country's call for mass entrepreneurship and innovation policies in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, and to encourage more aspiring and qualified young people from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to integrate into the Greater Bay Area and participate in mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the Entrepreneurship Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will host the Youth Entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship inspection and exchange group , leading qualified young people who are studying or graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to inspect innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities in the Mainland and communicate with local professionals .

Objectives:

1. To enhance Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s qualified Hong Kong youth (students, alumni, staff) to understand the economic situation, social culture, supporting measures for mass innovation and local entrepreneurship in mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area;
2. Deepen the funding team's understanding of the industrial planning and development of the mainland market in the Greater Bay Area;
3. As well as the knowledge and understanding of the inland cities and entrepreneurial bases to be settled in, provide them with more comprehensive information and services, and promote the development of entrepreneurship

Activity object:

Eligible Hong Kong youth aged 18-40 , including students, alumni and staff of our school

Selection Criteria:

• Start-up teams supported by HKUST Entrepreneurship Center are preferred
• Participation qualifications are subject to successful deposit payment on a first-come-first-served basis, and the paid deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the activity.

Fee: Eligible persons are free (with a deposit of HK $500* )
* Participants must attend the pre-tour briefing, study tour, other related activities and submit activity reports on time before the deposit will be refunded.

Result Announcement:
1. The application result will be notified to all participants by email in early April.
2. Accepted applicants must go to the Entrepreneurship Center to pay the required deposit within the specified time. The paid deposit will be successfully completed Refunded after the event. If you are absent due to personal reasons without reason/apply to withdraw from the group before departure, the paid deposit will not be refunded.
