[Call for Paper] AUA Academic Conference on Public Health Resilience in the COVID-19 Pandemic
The “2023 AUA Academic Conference on Public Health Resilience in the COVID-19 Pandemic: Innovative Approach and Best Practice in Facing the Challenges” is now calling for papers for the following topic areas: 1) Epidemiology, 2)Health Promotion and Behaviour, 3) Occupational Health and Safety, 4) Health Administration & Policy, 5) Environmental Health, 6) Health Communication, 7) Public Health Nutrition, 8) Biostatistics, 9) Health Tourism, 10) Reproductive Health, 11) Health Economics, 12) Population Studies and 13) Health Informatics.
Organized by the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) of Universitas Indonesia in collaboration with the Graduate School of Medicine of The University of Tokyo, the Conference will have distinguished keynote speakers, plenary speakers, and panel discussions engaging with crucial topics related to post-pandemic crisis risks, the innovative approach, impacts, mitigation efforts, and best practices in public health challenges. The Conference will bring together various specializations in health sciences, social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities. It could also become a great way for institutions to work hand in hand to make a more significant impact in the post-pandemic world.
There will be three event activities, including (1) a journal clinic, to be held in January 2023; (2) a pre-conference seminar for post graduate students, to be held on 11 February 2023; and (3) the main conference, to be held on 12-13 February.
HKUST faculty members and postgraduate students are now invited to submit their abstract before 30 December 2022 (Friday).

Expected Outcomes |
- Acquire new and updated knowledge on public health particularly the innovative approach and best practice in facing the pandemic COVID-19 for public health resilience. - Establish networks with speakers and participants from different countries. - Have an opportunity for networking / joint research with national and international researchers in public health issues. - Boost international publications. - Strengthen national and international collaborations. *The selected paper will be published in "Jurnal Kesmas: National Public Health Journal" (Scopus) and FPH UI's journals which are SINTA indexed (national index). Other papers will be published in the proceeding and uploaded to conference website. |
