MoCA x Mega City: What are the new cultural possibilities offered by Web3.0 and the metaverse?

7:00pm - 8:00pm
The Fringe Club

The metaverse is the said to a pending revolution as groundbreaking as the modern smartphone is to the first clunky mobile phones of the 1980s.

Its application in the cultural field could transform the way we people access art and culture, with innovative platforms in the metaverse such as Mega City and MoCA (Museum of Crypo-Art). MoCa, created be Benoit Couty, is a museum in the metaverse dedicated to gathering crypto-art works and showcasing it using the Web3.0., while Mega City is a cultural hub inspired by multiple Hong Kong talents in the metaverse created by The Sandbox. What are the new possibilities offered by Web3.0 and the metaverse to showcase art? How does this alternative reality bring art closer to the public? How to engage the public in a cultural experience in the metaverse?

Under the moderation of Pr. Tristan Braud, experts Benoit Couty and Erich Wong share their experience and vision of their respective projects.
