Call for Proposals - Amazon Science - Amazon Research Awards (ARA)

The Amazon Science is now inviting proposals for the Amazon Research Awards (ARA), which aims to fund projects leading toward a PhD degree or conducted as a part of post-doctoral work. ARA funds proposals in a variety of research areas such as robotics, machine learning, security, sustainability, and more.

Funding Limit

Around USD70,000 - 80,000 on average, depending on specific Call for Proposals (CFPs).  Please refer to the open CFPs for more details.

Eligibility and Application Procedures

Full-time academic staff is eligible to apply.

1. Applications must be completed and submitted electronically via the online submission tool. First time user shall create a new account.
2. Prior to formal submission online, please send the application package to the Research Office for review by the internal deadline of 24 September 2021.
