Hong Kong ranked among the top five fastest growing startup ecosystems and one of the world’s top 25 startup hubs. The city also has 8 unicorns, which refers to a startup with a valuation of over US $1 billion. It is clear that the future of Hong Kong’s innovation is through technology – digital and research skillsets are essential to maintain our competitive edge over the next 5, 10 to 20 years.
As The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Microsoft Hong Kong both celebrate 30 years in the city, the two organization are joining hands in a virtual fireside chat to discuss technology’s role in maintaining Hong Kong’s and our talent’s future competitiveness.
