The newly established Center for Aging Science aims to develop and consolidate the university’s world-leading research into aging at both the population and individual level. The Center is proud to have members in all Schools of the University and, through various projects with stakeholders, has a strong relationship with the community. To learn more about the Center and our vision, please refer to our website.

On the occasion of the launch of the Center for Aging Science, a logo design contest is now open for entries. It can be abstract or more literal; but it should NOT represent any stereotypical view of aging or older persons. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to submit designs to show their creativity!

The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, and the winning design will be considered for adoption as the official logo of the Center.

All images must be submitted in BOTH SVG (.svg) and JPEG format (.jpg) in RGB color mode.

Rules:

The submitted design must not violate relevant laws and regulations.

The submitted design must be an original idea and must not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

The submitted design should follow the new University branding guidelines.

In submitting their design to this logo design contest, entrants grant permission to the Center for Aging Science to take, and have, full and free use of their design. The winner should be willing to work with the Center to fine tune/adapt the logo. The Center reserves the right to seek alternative designs for the final, chosen logo.

Every entry should submit A) the logo itself (e.g. for use as a social media logo) and B) the logo alongside the name of the Center using any font.

All files must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Please refer to our website for logo dimensions and samples.
