HACK VIRAL 2020 !
Organised by Student Innovation for Global Health Technology (SIGHT) and HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC), we are looking for students and professionals to tackle problems brought on by this COVID19 pandemic!
In the outbreak of COVID-19, technology plays an indispensable role to minimise the disruptions to human life amid lockdown and quarantine. While some are able to work from home, continue to study with online learning, satisfy life necessities with online shopping, the virus has become a major threat to others with livelihoods at stake. This is the golden hour for industries to innovate for survival. Even now our lives swing back and forth between a return to normalcy and the looming specter of a second outbreak. The path to recovery is long, and the path of finding a new normal even longer. What can technology do to solve the problems under COVID? These questions await your creativity.
We have 3 main tracks:
Youth Development & Education
- With schedules thrown into disarray and classNamees going virtual, how does our youth learn & grow in an age of outbreak?
