HKUST Free Skills Sharing - Guitar Workshop Series - Play Guitar like Ed Sheeran

Hi there, I’m Giorgio, I’m an Italian astrophysicist and I am in love with my guitar. Although I’ve learned to play classic guitar at school, I rediscover guitar more recently thanks to Ed Sheeran. Some of his best songs are easy to play and very effective. I would like to share my love for Ed Sheeran's music and his guitar-playing style with you. If you are an absolute beginner, this workshop is for you. You will learn to play the chords that Ed Sheeran most often uses and you will be surprised about how easy and how beautiful they sound.
The aim of this guitar series is to give some practical skills to beginners to learn fast to play guitar and be able to play at least one of the most famous Ed Sheeran songs.
- WHAT TO EXPECT: learning the fundamental chords that are frequently used in modern music
- LEVEL OF SKILLS: these workshops are aimed at beginners but everyone is welcome. We aim at playing altogether and everyone will be assigned a different task according to their skills.
- REQUIREMENT: everyone needs to bring their own guitar to join the workshop.
