Abstract
Energy transfer reaction has emerged as a powerful strategy in modern photochemical synthesis, yet capturing its transient intermediates remains challenging. This seminar highlights recent advances in utilizing ultrafast spectroscopy to elucidate the precise mechanisms of EnT reactions. By tracking electronic and structural dynamics on femtosecond to nanosecond timescales, techniques like transient absorption and time-resolved fluorescence uncover critical pathways of triplet energy transfer. Ultimately, this integration of ultrafast tools provides essential design principles for developing next-generation, high-performance photocatalysts.
