Welcome to 2nd T2R2

Welcome to the Second International Conference on Thermal Treatment for Resource Recovery! This grand event brings together top researchers, industry experts, and policymakers, aiming to drive the continuous development of thermal treatment science and technology for more efficient and sustainable resource management. The conference focuses on cutting-edge research, explores advanced thermal treatment methods, and is committed to converting waste materials into valuable resources such as renewable energy and biofuels, while also taking into account environmental friendliness and economic feasibility.

The conference revolves around the following popular topics:

  • Evolution of Advanced Pyrolysis Technology: Develop a new generation of pyrolysis reactors, explore new processes such as microwave-assisted pyrolysis, and enhance the yield and quality of bio-oil, biochar, and syngas.

  • Intelligent Gasification Innovation: Optimize gasification performance by using intelligent sensing and control systems, promote the integration of gasification with energy storage and smart grids, and enhance the efficiency of combined heat and power (CHP) systems.

  • Efficient Incineration and Energy Upgrade: Discuss efficient incineration technologies, optimize the design of waste-to-energy plants, explore advanced pollutant control technologies, and achieve a win-win situation for energy recovery and emission reduction.

  • Diversified Treatment of Complex Wastes: Focus on emerging wastes such as microplastic pollution and end-of-life batteries, study hybrid thermal treatment processes, and provide customized treatment solutions.

  • Next-Generation Environmental Protection Strategies: Explore technologies such as carbon capture and utilization and sustainable cooling systems, improve life cycle assessment methods, and reduce the environmental impact of thermal treatment.

  • Policy-Driven and Market-Oriented Analysis: Analyze the impact of policies such as carbon taxes on the economic feasibility of projects, explore innovative business models, and facilitate technology promotion.

  • Recycling and Utilization of High-Value Materials: Research advanced separation technologies to recover rare metals from thermal treatment by-products, and expand the high-value application scenarios of by-products such as biochar.

  • Deepening the Integration of Circular Economy: Explore the collaborative paths between thermal treatment and other aspects of the circular economy, share successful cases, and build comprehensive waste management strategies.

  • New Reactor Materials and Designs: Develop high-temperature-resistant and efficient reactor materials, and design scalable reactors suitable for different scale requirements.

  • Digital Twin and Autonomous Treatment: Apply digital twin technology to optimize processes and train personnel, develop autonomous control systems, and achieve intelligent operation and maintenance.
