[Make-up] New Exco Orientation (Part A & Part B)

The New Exco Orientation co-organized by HKUST Students’ Union and Dean of Students’ Office was held successfully last week via Zoom. The orientation was composed of Talks and Functional Trainings that covered tips, insights and useful skills on student leadership roles and responsibilities. If you society has not participated, please send representatives to register for the make-up sessions.

Part A: Orientation Talk (Make-up session)

-Support from DSTO (SSA) and CMO
-Green Campus Promotion
-Student Leaders Program Award Presentation
Target Participants: Each society must send at least 2 exco (2021-2022 Session) to attend the talk.

Part B: Functional Training - Financial Reporting (Make-up session)

Time: 3:00-4:00pm

-Tips on Financial Reporting
-SU Funding/ Subsidies for Student Societies
Target Participants: No make-up session would be arranged for Meeting Skills, Contract Law and Game Design for Online Activities. P, EVP, IVP, Fin Sec who did not attend your session of [Part B: Functional Training] are required to attend this make-up session of Financial Reporting.

Please note that only student societies with at least TWO Exco representatives (from the 2021-2022 session) participated in Part A as well as fulfilling the required attendance in Part B will be eligible for booking/use of campus venues, equipment and Professional Zoom Account via SSA.
