Building on the success of the inaugural Summit in 2024, The Hong Kong Association for External Friendship once again proudly organizes the Global University Presidents & Leaders Summit 2026, supported by the University Grants Committee and eight universities in Hong Kong, including The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
The 2-day summit gathers over 50 globally renowned university presidents and leaders for insightful dialogues on a central theme: Globalization of Knowledge — how to run university education to meet the speedy global development and community need.
Prof. Nancy Y. Ip, HKUST President will chair the panel Session 2 on “Opportunities for International Education and Public-Private Partnerships in Hong Kong’s Northern Metropolitan University Town: Exploring Innovation Ecosystems and Investment Models” on the first day of the summit (27 October).
