Department of Mathematics - Seminar on Pure Mathematics - Minimal surface and hypersurface doublings

After a brief introduction recalling classical and semi-classical results and conjectures, I will discuss the current status of minimal surface and hypersurface doublings and their geometry, including recent results with J. Zou on hypersurface doublings (arXiv:2405.18283v2), the index of some minimal surface doublings (arXiv:2512.07734v1.pdf), and if time allows ongoing work and open problems.
