This is about a predator-prey system where the predators are excluded from
certain areas. We analyze the possibility of coexistence and the effects on the
predator population. Examples are the Marine Protected Areas, or recently
reported observations about how canids or felids occupy their territory. I report
on joint work with Bill Fagan and Alex Safsten.
