2023 Tsinghua SIGS Global Summer School

Introduction

In order to adapt to a globalized commercial environment, Tsinghua SIGS encourages interdisciplinary research and learning, integrating among different theme areas across traditional academic borders.

This summer school offers students an opportunity to gain a systematic understanding of 6 of the theme areas at Tsinghua SIGS, showing how interdisciplinary learning breaks barriers and how integration creates innovation. Students will also have the opportunity to explore the ancient history and natural beauty of China.

Throughout a 2-week program, there will be:

• Lectures given by notable speakers who are key players in the 6 theme areas
• Opportunities for group discussions and projects
• Site visits to innovative labs in SIGS and leading enterprises located in Shenzhen
• Field trip and cultural activity to explore the history and beauty of China

Application

Eligibility: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
