Call for Applications : Research Grants Council (RGC) PROCORE-France/Hong Kong Joint Research Scheme 2021/22

The Research Grants Council (RGC) is now calling applications for the captioned scheme:

There are two types of grants under the Scheme: Conference/Workshop Grants and Travel Grants.  The Grants aim to provide funding for

1. supporting scholarly collaboration between individual Hong Kong and French researchers; and
2. facilitating Hong Kong and French researchers of similar fields to develop new collaboration through dissemination of their recent and unpublished research work.

For Travel Grants, the maximum requested amount of funding is HK$45,000 or HK$31,250 per year, depending if travelling of RPg student(s) involved or not.  For Conference/Workshop Grants, a maximum amount of HK$150,000 can be granted to one event held in Hong Kong.

Remarks:

1. Parallel submissions of applications by the Hong Kong and the French applicants to RGC and CGF are required.
2. The PI cannot delegate the trip to his/her Co-Investigator (Co-I) nor his/her project team members.
