ZOOM

Date:

6 Nov 2020 (Sat)

Time:

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Description:

According to the WHO (2006), Sexual health is “a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality… (that) requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination, and violence”.

This workshop will introduce practical ways to handle traumatic experience. There is a potential of sexual health and well-being for each individual. Despite the experiences, people can bounce back after adversity. We call it resilience. What makes a person more resilient than the others?  How does it lead to a flourishing life?  Can it be learned?  The workshop will discuss ways to cultivate resilience and well-being through the lens of positive psychology.
