Call for Proposals – Simons Foundation’s Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MPS) division – Targeted Grants to Institutes

The Simons Foundation’s division for Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MPS) is now inviting proposals for the Targeted Grants to Institutes and the programme is intended to support established institutes or centers in mathematics, theoretical physics and theoretical computer science through funding to help strengthen contacts within the international scientific community.

Up to 3 years

Funding Limit

Up to US$200,000 per year

Internal Deadline

9 September 2021 (Thursday)

Eligibility and Application Procedures

Applications may be submitted by established U.S. and foreign public and private educational and non-profit institutes and research centers.

1. Applications must be completed and submitted electronically via proposalCENTRAL. First time users may create a user account and log in as an applicant, scroll to the Simons Foundation and click on the program.
2. Prior to formal submission online, please send the application package to the Research Office for review by the above internal deadline.
