HKUST Free Skills Sharing - Guitar Workshop Series - Queer Cottagecore- Connect with Nature with Aurora, Florence+the Machine, Fleetwood Mac, and Greentea Peng
Date: 5 December (Mon)
Time: 4pm-5pm
Venue: LG7 in front of the community garden
At the workshop, we will appreciate nature-inspired music and explore queer cottagecore as a genre, and to jam songs and connect to nature.
Level of skills for participants： Any skill levels are welcome.
Feel free to bring your own guitar and capo. If you cannot play, just come and vibe with nature.
Please bring a picnic mat/cloth to sit on the grass.
Group size: expect 5-12
Hi I am Irene, I am a year 3 student. I started playing guitar when I was 12 but I was self-taught (so I am not in excellent level). My favourite guitarists are Gábor Szabó and Jimi Hendrix. I love a lot of different music genres. My current favorite is Aurora because her songs are very inspiring.
