[Extended Deadline] Call for Proposals - Strategic Public Policy Research (SPPR) Funding Scheme 2020-21

Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office (PICO) is calling for proposals for Strategic Public Policy (SPPR) Funding Scheme 2020-21.

Strategic themes
(a) Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
(b) Belt and Road Initiative
(c) Big Data / Smart City
(d) Innovation and Technology / Artificial Intelligence / Re-Industrialization
(e) Alternative Procurement Models for Major Infrastructure Projects
(f) Developing Green Finance in Hong Kong
(g) City Branding Strategy for Hong Kong
(h) Consolidating Hong Kong’s Position as an International Logistics Hub
(i) Transitional Housing
(j) Children, Youth and Family Development
(k) Ageing Population
(l) Healthcare System Innovation
(m) Manpower Supply and Development

Project Duration
3 to 5 years

Funding Limit
Ranging from HK$3 million to HK$5 million

Full-time academic staff teaching undergraduate or above programmes is eligible to apply.

The maximum number of PPR/SPPR projects that a PI can hold concurrently is TWO normally.
