Call for Proposals – Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) 2021 Human Cognitive and Behavioral Science

The mission of SFARI is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) by funding innovative research of the highest quality and relevance throughout the world. Grants awarded through this program are intended to produce foundational knowledge about the neurobehavioral differences associated with ASD, which will directly inform the development or refinement of tools needed for translational efforts, such as biomarkers and outcome measures. Special emphasis is placed on objective, quantitative measures that may be used in conjunction with standardized clinical measures and genomic information to better triangulate phenotypic and neurobiological variability within and across individuals with ASD.

 

Project Duration
Up to three years.

 

Funding Limit
A maximum of USD$750,000 may be granted for each selected project.

Eligibility and Application Procedures
Full-time academic staff is eligible to apply. For details, please refer to the information on the program and application instructions HERE. Proposals must be submitted online through proposalCENTRAL. Please send the proposal to the Research Office by 27 April 2021 for review prior to formal submission.
