[Call for Innovations] The Earthshot Prize 2023

Launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in October 2020, The Earthshot Prize is centerd around five Earthshot categories, each encouraging the development of innovations that can tackle the environmental challenges in each of the 5 areas of Nature, Air, Oceans, Waste-Free World, and Climate. Entries submitted will be evaluated and reviewed by a panel of independent experts and the esteemed Earthshot Prize Council, with members including Prince William, Sir David Attenborough, Shakira, and Christiana Figueres.

 

The 2023 Earthshot Winners will each win £1 Million in prize money by late 2023 in an Awards Ceremony to be broadcasted globally. Shortlisted finalists will be given tailored support and opportunities to help scale their work, including being connected with The Earthshot Prize network of NGOs, businesses, governments, funders, and expert mentors.

 

About The Earthshot Prize 2023

In its 3rd year, the Prize aims to discover and help scale innovative solutions that put the world firmly on a trajectory toward a stable climate by 2030.  Through a network of over 300 Nominators from over 80 countries, the Prize will consider nominations, which can make tangible progress towards one of the five Earthshots: 

 

  1. Protect and Restore Nature
  2. Clean our Air
  3. Revive our Oceans
  4. Build a Waste-free World
  5. Fix our Climate.

Nominations are now open until January 18, 2023

The Mills Fabrica is an official nominator of The Earthshot Prize 2023 and will collect potential nominations for consideration. As the Nominator, The Mills Fabrica will conduct the first round of review and submit the applications on behalf of selected nominees.
